In an interview with People in August 2023, Kody revealed that he would be open to “marrying again” with a new wife after his splits from his ex-wives Christine, Janelle, and Meri. “The idea of ever marrying again after the experience I’ve had, there’s no reason for me to do that,” he said. “I feel like I’ve hit the bottom of a deep swimming pool, but I’ve pushed off and am headed to the surface.”

  Janelle, however, revealed in the Sister Wives: 1-on-1 special in December 2023 that Kody will ever remarry again with a fifth wife. “He’s now talking more and more about ‘as we move forward into monogamy’ [with Robyn]. I think that’s where he’s headed,” Janelle said, admitting that she doesn’t “foresee” Kody marrying a new wife. “I’ll bet you $1,000 right now,” Janelle said. “If he does, I will give you $1,000.   Robyn confirmed she and Kody were still together in an interview with People in December 2023, where she claimed that Kody’s breakups with her fellow sister wives—Christine, Janelle, and Meri—triggered a “huge upheaval” in Kody’s self-image. “Kody has been going through a lot and he’s dealt with a lot of frustration and anger and hurt and betrayal, and I’m going through my own emotions about all of it as well,” she said. “And it’s been hard on our relationship.
